Abstract

this experiment was conducted on the 4th instars larvae of Spodoptera littoralis to investigate the effect of Protecto, Viruset, Cascade, and Atabron. The effect of the tested compounds on the total protein, total carbohydrate, and total lipids were determined in the 6th instars larvae. After treatment the 4th instars larvae results showed that the treatment of the 4th instar larvae with the LC50 of the tested compounds represented a significant decrease in the amount of total protein, total carbohydrate, and total lipid. Therefore, biopesticides can be used as safe substitutes for chemical insecticides a they have influenced the formation of tissues of treated insects.
