Abstract
This study aimed at identifying some of goat breeders in the study area, and the level of knowledge and application regarding of some of the recommendations, the most important problems they face when raising and caring for goats, and the reasons that led to the continuation of some of them in breeding. To achieve these goals asample of breeders was selected in the province of Alexandria, and two regions of the Burj Al Arab, and Amiriya to the fact that these areas a lot of their Bedouin interested in raising sheep and goats in addition to a station for Research on Animal Production area of the Burj Al Arab, was chosen the largest village in the two regions and two village (Burj Al Arab Elkadima) in the Burj Al Arab, the village ( Elnahda) in the Amiriya, The total number of breeders of goats in the two villages (763) breeder, was chosen Randm sample by 20% of all villages with a total (153) person by (73) person of the old village of Burj Al Arab, and (80) from the village of person (Elnahda).
