A STUDY OF SOME VARIABLES ASSOCIATED WITH DEGREE OF POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF RURAL YOUTH AT EL NEGELA AND MEET- RAHENA VILLAGES IN BEHEIRA AND GIZA GOVERNORATES

Abstract
This study amid to identify the degree of political participation of rural youth, and the relationship between demographic, social, and economic variables and the degree of political participation of rural youth, and what are the main problems experienced by respondents, and proposal solutions to overcome these problems. The study was conducted at selected village (El negela) from el Beheira Governorate, and (Meet-rahena) from Giza Governorate, to make possibility of a variation and diversity in cultures and geographical framework, and sample size 200 respondents by 100 respondents each village. The study was done by collecting data via personal Questionnaire & Personal interviews, used some statistical analysis tools that suit the nature of the studied variables and help achieve the study objectives, such as frequency tables, percentages, Chi Square, Pearson Product Correlation Coefficient, and T-test were used in analyzing the gathered data. The main findings of the study are the following: 1- 47% of respondents at El-negela village in Beheir political participation for more than half of the sample 52% of the respondents at Meet-rahena village in Giza Governorate rank in the same category.2- A significant difference between the average degree of political participation of the respondents, as the value of "T-test" 6.01 significant at 0.05 for young youth in the village of Giza Governorate.3- positive correlation between the age of respondents, and the number of years education, degree of exposure electronic communication and the degree of political participation of respondents at El negela and Meet-rahena Villages in Giza and Beheira Governorate.
