THE PREDATION EFFICIENCY OF CAMPYLOMMA VERBASCI MEYER-DURE (HEMIPTERA: MIRIDAE) ON TETRANYCHUS URTICA AND APHIS POMI UNDER LABORATORY CONDITIONS.

Abstract

A laboratory study was conducted to evaluate the predation efficiency of Canpybrnma verbasci on Tetranydius wiles and Aphis poml. Romi. Results showed that immature and adult stages (except 14 nymphal instar) prey on 7.urtica, and we found that the mean consumption of Cverbasci on T.urtica was 0.4, 0.7, 1.2, 3.7, 0.4 prey/Campylorma to 2'4 , , 4°' , 5°' , nymphal Instar and adult stage respectively in 1 Hour, and 0.9, 2.8, 4.8, 5.4, 6.5 prey/Camplomma to 24 , 34 , , 54 , nymphal instar and adult stage respectively In 24 Hour , also we found that 14 and r nymphal instars d Cverbaso didn't prey on A.poml where as the mean consumption of 3", 5°., nymphal instar and adult stage of C.verbasci an A.pomi was 0.6, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 respectively in 1 Hour and 0.8, 1, 1.2, 1.8 in 24 Hour Results also showed significant differences between immature and adult stages p>0.05 to both of previous.
