Abstract
This study aimed at determining the Contribution level of Rural woman in a group of studied activities and in each activity related to the protection of the environment. Identifying the barriers which limited these contribution, and determining the relationship between the degrees of rural women contribution and some independent variables, finally the study aimed at determining the independent variables participated in explaining the variation in the dependent variable. Data were collected during January 2006 by pretested Questionnaire from 150 random sample represent (4%) of the total women holders, and farmer's wives who reached 3700 in the three randomly selected villages of Fayoum Governorate. Standard deviation, variation coefficient, skewness, simple correlation, and stepwise test were used to present and analyse data of the study, in addition to frequencies and percentages.
