Abstract
Within the process of digital transformation in Egypt, agricultural extension services are moving strongly toward adopting mobile applications. This research was conducted as a pre-evaluation prior to disseminating sustainable interactive agricultural extension application by measuring the availability of validity criteria for the studied application from the point view of agricultural extension agents, farmers, and extension experts. Three purposive samples of respondents were selected; they amounted to 50, 50, and 10 agricultural extension agents, farmers, and extension experts respondents respectively. Data were collected by personal interviews using a pre-tested questionnaire from November 2021 from the samples of the agricultural extension agents and the farmers in Kafr El-Sheikh and Dakahlia governorates, for extension experts the questionnaire was sent via email and returned during Feb. and Mar. 2022. The research adopted the social survey approach by samples and applied a set of statistical tools for data analysis and presentation of findings. The main results of the research confirmed: the validity of the studied application, and its readiness for dissemination to the target groups on the Google Play platform by the producer, even though the availability of educational and technical treatment validity for the studied application was characterized by the medium availability from the point view of the extension experts by 100.00%, finally, there are significant differences between the agricultural extension agents and farmers regarding the availability of total validity degrees of the studied application in favor of the extension agents.
