Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the female Agricultural Extension workers' level of satisfaction toward the Extension work, determining the relationship between this satisfaction level and some related studied in-dependent variables, and determining the ratio which each related inde-pendent variable participated with in explaining the variation in the de-pendent variable, also the study aimed at identifying the obstacles which preventing the Female Agricultural Extension workers from performing their Extension work directed to develop rural women as they Viewed perceived. Data were collected from six Govemorates which are: El Gharbiya, El Menoufeyia, El Sharkeyia, El Fayoum, Beni Swief, and Asueyout . The sample of the study which reached to (172) respondendents were se‌lected randomly with ratio representing 50 percent of the total female Agricultural Extension workers of the Rural Development Department who working with rural women for at least more than one year. Simple Correlation, Step Wise Regression, tables, frequencies, and pecentages were used to present and analyze data statistically. The study revealed these results: 1. More than three quarters of the investigated female Agricultural Work‌ers have medium level of satisfaction towards the Extension work. 2. There was significant relationship at 0.05 level between the satisfac‌tion degree of female Agricultural Extension workers towards the Ex‌tension work and only three independent variables which were: the number of the Agricultural Extension courses studied at the universi‌ty, the benefit of the female Agricutural Extension work, and the knowledge degree of the female Agricultural Extension workers of the Agricultural Extension activities concerning with developing rural wom‌en. 3. The study results showed also that only one independent variable among the three related independent variables was contributed signif‌icantly in explaining the variation in the dependent variable, and this variable was ; the benefit of the female Agricultural Extension workers from the previous training in their Extension work. 4. The study revealed that the most important problems preventing the female Agricultural Extension workers from performing their activities to developing rural women were ; shortage of the transportation means , roads difficulties and the low incentives.
