Abstract
The erfecliveness of some new safe themicals were evaluated against the movie; cages of the two spider mite, Tetranychus urbose Koh infesting oowpea plants, 'Cream-7 variety' at Fayoum Governorate during two excessive summer seasons (2001 and 2002). This evaluation was conducted in comparison with one of the recommended chenical acanddes Ortus % SC at rate of 50 m1100 fit. water. Obtained results deared that, Wilimec 1.8 % EC at the rate of 40 ml/100 It water, Oche 5 % SC at rate of 50 S/100 it water, Hateckneck 1 % EC at rate ca 50 mV100 It water and 5-1283 at the highest ate 300 mV100 It water were the most efficient compounds on mite moving stages on cowpea plants; gave more than 85% percent reduction allover the two tested years 2001 and 2002 with respective mean of reduction 91.01 & 91.91 %; 90.65 & 90.57 %; 89.71 & 89.92 % and 85.90 & 85.44 %. On the other hand, Cape 2% at rate of 50 g/100 Id. water, 5‌1283 at its lowest rate 150 nn(/100 It water and three Targets at its highest rate 500 mV100 it water came next in their effect with aPPradrnately equal percent redaction allover the two erperimented years, 2001 and 2002 veil respective mean of 74.98 & 75.82 %; 73.70 & 74.86 % and 74.53 & 74.43 %. Three Targets at the lowest rate 250 mV100 It water was the least effective material with 68.03 & 68.80 % reduction In the two resixalve years.
