Abstract
The main objective of this study is to identify the impact of some variables related to the Extension workers that affect their application to extension meetings in Beheira Governorate . To accomplish this study; four specific objectives were taken into consideration 1- To determine the application level of respondents to extension meetings . 2- To determine the relationship of some independent variables regarding respondents and their application degree of extension meetings . 3- To determine the contribution of some variables in explaining the application degree of extension meetings . The main findings of the study were : a- There is positive relationship between satisfaction degree .of extension work, ambition degree, duration in extension work, and age , from on side , and application degree of extension meetings in the other side . b- There is an effective relationship between each of : satisfaction degree of the extension work, ambition degree , duration in extension work, age, annual income, and experience degree of extension meetings application, from one side, and application degree of extension meetings from the other side . c- There is a significant relationship between the educational and specialization level of respondents, and the degree of application to the extension meetings . The major constraints fadng respondents in using extension meetings are : lack of incentives, shortage of extension audio-visual aids lack of transportation and shortage of training programs. Their suggestions to overcome these constraints were : increasing transportation means, the incentives for respondents, and supporting of extension aids and conducting more training programs for respondents .
