Abstract
Two AS trials were carried cut at the Agriattural Exprimet Research Station, Fa0AY of Arculture, Calm UNvesity, during 2001 / 2002 and 2002 / 2033 reasons .The aim of this study was to investigate the response of tour super beet varieties ( Top, Lola, Nero and Fork% ), to different levels of nitrogen fertilization ( 0, 31, 62, 93, and 124 Kg N /fed ) . Results slime] that writhes cIffered In its Juice goalies and yield components. There is superiority of Lola variety over other varieties in sucrose, runty recoverable sugar percentages and root weight as wet as root and sugar Welds in both seasons, wide Fade variety gave the highest number of roots and top Welds at harvest . Increasing the rate of Shone) up to 124 Kg /fed deceased sucrose, runty, corrected sugar percentages and quality bat tut increased mouses and sucrose loss to molasses ivtde gave the highest man root weight, top and root welds ( ton / fed ). Each acorn increment up to 93 Kg /red VAS acre panted by an Maoist in sugar yield (to /eel), thereafter sugar Weld was unaffected by further applation nitrogen. Varieties X nitrogen rates had a sigrincant effect on at bats ereOt sucrose % and atnect-N in both seasons. The Nero variety ems superior In quality ( beet quality %, purity and corrected sugar percertages ) N both seasons. The highest mean root weight and root yield were obtained from the 124 Kg Nifed and Lola variety in both seasons, wide Fettle variety and 124 K9 Wert gyre the highest top Weld e the 1. stew. ). The West sugar Wed ( sealed.) resulted from usa variety ( 929tco/fet In the Id season )arci at 124 Kg W. In the ri season Lola variety gave the Lyles sugar Weld (4.39 ton /fed. at 93 Kg Med. ).
