Abstract
This study aims to Identifying methods of getting rid of farm and home remnants, Identifying level of salty use of farm and home remnants, determining factors related to the salty use, and finally factors that explain the variance In sally use. To achieve these objectives a questionnaire was designed and filled through personal interviews. Data were collected from a random sample of 300 farmers in Dakahlia and kalr El-sheikh governorates. Percentages. Correlation, step wise multiple regression techniques (step‌wise solution) were used for analyzing data. The results of the study showed that: 1-The main methods of getting rid of Crop remnants were: use as a fuel, burn In the field, storage on house surface, Feed animals. As for production rem‌nants were: selling to traderfsmen turning tumid). In Canales and drains. 2-The main methods of getting ride of home remnants were: rubbish. Dump‌ing in canals drains. streets, selling to tradesmen turning, feeding of the home birds, bury throw earth, and wad lank. 3-The Majority of farmers (67%) enjoy a moderate Level of safe use of farm remnants. 4-Three independent variables explain 5.4% of the total variance in salty use of farm remnants These were: age, Reciclying farm remnants facility, and cash income. 5-The greats majority of Farmers enjoy a moderate level (48%) and high level (41%) of safe use of home remnants. 6-Two Independent variables explained 11.3% of the total variance salty use of home remnants.These wore Redclying home remnants facility, and par‌ticipation in developmental activities.
