Abstract
This research aimed at: Developing and standardizing a scale for measuring the Agile. Extension service Quality (AES) for the Agricultural Extension Centers (AEC) in Egypt. determining the differences among (AEC) officers regarding their perceptions, views about farmers expecta-tions and what actually Been done at the (AESQ), and to determine the difference between their perceptions and views about farmers expecta-tion, and their perceptions to what Should be and What (AEC) actually perform. The research was conducted on the (AEC) at (11) governorates which had (AEC) representing about 50 percent from the total number of (AEC),s puilt in Egypt. Four (AEC) officers were selected from each governorate and 5 officers from Beheira and Noubaria, areas. The total size of the sample reached to 45 officers representing about 46% from the population Studied Data were collected through a designed scale for (AECO) con-tained five dimensions Including 24 items. Simple corr. Coot, corr. Matrix, validity and reliability coefficients two-way analysis of variance and (t) test were used as statistical tools for analysing the data. The main results of the study were: The tested scale showed high validity and rehalibily of its dimen-sions and for each item. There were significant differences among the (AEC) officers re-garding each of their perceptions, views about farmers expectations and what actually been perlomed for the (AESQ) at each of the item score. Data revealed also that there were significant differences related to score of the physical and material arrangements and reliability dimen-sions Among (AEC) officers perceptions and views their about farmers expectations of (AECO). Also there were significant differences related to physical 8 ma-terial arrangements, responsiveness and security dimensions Among (AEC) others perceptions and what actually been performed for (AECO). The study results should raise and promote tho (AESQ) to meet the perceptions and views about the farmers expectations and views about the farmers expectations from the view points of (AES) officers.
