Revision of the genus Sphecodes Latreille provides a great assistance in the identification of the parasitic group of the family Halictidae. Seven Egyptian species of this genus are revised. Each laxon is provided with synonyms, description, hosts and distribution. A key to species is also presented. Male genitalia of six species are illustrated.
