Abstract
The research reviews the role of the International Food and Agricultural Organization in term of sustainable development in The Red Sea State. the study of Delta Toker Agricultural Schame, period from 2004 to 2016, the research aims to know the real role of Organization in sustainable development in the schame mentioned and identify its contribution in involving in sustainable development in Delta Toker Agricultural schame. Research follows the descriptive analytical method, historical extrapolations as well as statistical curriculum. The researcher used primary sources in preparing his questionnaire for the researchers, interviews with academic and administrative in the research area and Port Sudan city as well as observations of researcher during study. The researcher also used secondary source of annual project performance reports in years 1993-2016, periodicals and references, previous studies, tropes of papers and scientific reports presented at seminars and various workshops by a specialist in the field of agricultural policies, as well as to using the information web site related to the study. A simple, homogeneous, random sample representative of the research community was selected, with a size of (100) in addition to academic and administrative interviews.
Research has produced a number of results, the interference between the Authorities in the Federal Government in Khartoum and The Red Sea State where by would have negative impaction., The performance of the (F.A.O) which the latter found cooperation from the Administration of the Schame to execute its programme in which (F.A.O) had on effective role in letting local communities to participate in Delta Tokar Agricultural Scheme forms, and well founded reforms. Despite its involvements in the increasing of the product and productivity, how ever there are some obstacles that reduced its activities, impacts programmes its ineffectiveness funding policy and agricultural land ownership rules that need a lot of expounding, and the expending of Miskeet Tress. The research reached several recommendations, that Schame should belong to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, the Schame Administration should work with the official state for expounding the rules and regulations that run the Schame and also to work to the Official Federal Ministry Of Finance and others, and taken enough guarantees to bring about funding for farmers for the beginning of cultivating to the end. And hailing for (F.A.O) for its effective role in Delta Toker Agricultural Schame
