Abstract
A key is given to the females of 27 genera of family Encyrtidae (Hymonoptera: Chalcidoidae) that are known from Egypt. The key is also provided by illustrations for the general characters of the encyrtids, to­gether with figures of taxonomic characters of the genera known to be found in Egypt.
