Abstract

This investigation was conducted during two seasons 1992/1993 and 1993/1994 in the Farm of Medicinal and Aromatic plant Section at El-Kanater El-khairia to study the effect of irrigation intervals and foliar X (foliar spray) on Mentha piperita L. Results showed that irrigation intervals had clear effect on vegetative growth, i.e. irrigation after one week had significantly increased the plant height, number of leaves, fresh and dry weights of leaves and fresh and dry weight of herb. As for oil percentage the data showed the increasing trend but the differences were insignificant.
