Abstract
This study was carried out to identify the effect of some fertilization system on both chemical composition of wheat grains and their milling fractions. Fertilization mixture included 2.8% 2n, 16% Mn, and 2.8% Fe (w/v) solution. The fertilization mixture was added as spray to Sakha 69 wheat variety at three periods, when the heights of plant were 2 cm, when the plants were at flowering period and at both 2 cm height, and at flowering period. The concentration level of fertilization mixture were 0.5 Kg/ feddan and 1.5 Kg/faddan respectively. From the presented results, it could be concluded that fertilization with 0.5 Kg/faddan to the wheat variety Sakha 69 at 2 cm height and at flowering, fertilization dose increased the protein content of the grains. At 2 cm height with 0.5 Kg/faddan increased Zn. Mn and Fe contents of the produced milling fractions. Fertilization at both 2cm height and at flowering time with 1.0 Kg/faddan increased P content of wheat grains. Concerning milling fractions, bran value increased when the plant fertilized with 0.5 Kg/faddan, while shorts decreased when the plants fertilized with 1.5 Kg/faddan. Also, 1.5 Kg/faddan fertilization at both 2 cm height and flowering periods increased phytic acid content of both bran shorts of wheat grains. At 2 cm height, the highest phytic acid content was observed for flour when 1.0 Kg/faddan fertilization mixture used.
