As computers are considered of great Importance as en information source, we must ensure that agricultural extension agents can use computers in obtaining agricultural information. Therefore, the study aims to determine the training needs degree of agricultural extension agents in Ismailia governorate, and to assess their access to computers and intcrnet. The study also aims to assess their previous trNnIng concerning using computers and Internet. The study was conducted In Ismailia Governorate A sample of 132 agents was randomnly chosen out of 186 agricultural extension agents working in the districts of of Fayed,Abu Sware,Eltal el Kebir, El kassasin,El Kantara Shark El Kantara Ghatb, And Ismailia. The sample size was determined using the formula mentioned by Keijcie & Morgan(1978). For data collection a specially designed questionnaire was used during their meetings. The questionnaire contained personal characteristics, measures and scales (concerning access to computers and Internet, and their previous Training). In addition the respondents were asked to rate their needs concerning computer literacy. Frequencies, Averages, percentages were used in analyzing data and presenting results.
